Other Information

When the state of WV moved the bodies to this site they placed metal markers on the graves, since that time the metal markers have all been destroyed or deteriated. Now families can't even locate the site of the actual graves of there loved ones. The graves should of been properly marked when moved by the state so it would be permanent markers. I visited this cemetery and could not believe the graves unmarked and how sad to see the condition of the graves washing away and the huge trees growing out of the graves. Some of the graves have washed out so bad it looked like I could see some of the vaults. This cemetery is located just over the hill from the WV turnpike.

Support

At this time I don't have other support info available. However, I have had so many people contact me in search of loved ones in this same cemetery but couldn't find them due to the condition. Thanks to the state our loved ones are lost in this cemetery. I have a plat of the cemetery.
