Other Information
This cemetery contains the graves of two confederate
soldiers. It's condition is horrible.
Update - 31 July, 2002
This cemetery has now been partially cleared and
several of the fallen markers re-erected in the course of a film
production at the site. The Civil War graves are not Confederate, but
Union soldiers, John and James Hall (next to the names are the initials
"USA"). Given the elaborate markers, one of those may be Maj.
John T. Hall of the 4th West Virginia Volunteer Infantry, formed at
Point Pleasant. A third obelisk marker of the same style is still
toppled and overgrown, but was not cleared due to lack of time.
