Other Information
When I went to try to find this Cemetery, there
was not a sign on the road telling where it was, so we found a
black gentle man that met us and he showed us that there is 2 separate
cemeteries. The first one we found was for the African American families. We
kept searching for Morgan Palmer and after crossing through
another fence of over grown trees and vines, we found the original
Old Moss Cemetery. The cemeteries are 2 miles down a very un-kept
red dirt road that is sometimes impossible to travel. Old Moss Cemetery
is in all the records for Nacogdoches, Texas.
