Other problems: Cemetery is (in a wooded area near a residence) covered with cemetery ivy with possibly unmarked graves.  We visited the area but were unable to get permission to go on the land as the residence owners were not at home.  Not sure who owns the property at this time.  According to the WPA  book 1930's this cemetery is located on the former Big Springs Farm.  Apparently Big Springs Church was on this site at one time.  No trace of it now, though.
Previous contacts: Didn't know who to contact. I found out about it while looking for my ancestor, Elijah Hurst who is buried in the cemetery.  June Reed at http://www.blvl.igs.net/~socstc/            or   http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~hurstpage.  June sent me a copy of a photo of Elijah Hurst's tombstone located in this cemetery.
Work Status: No work started as of yet
