- Preserve Rhode Island
Formerly the Heritage Foundation of Rhode Island, PRI emerged anew in
1999 to help Rhode Island preserve its sense of place through advocacy,
preservation education, networking, and easement holding.
- Providence Preservation
Society
The Providence Preservation Society works to improve the quality of
life in Providence through historic preservation and enhancement of the
built environment. PPS has been in the forefront of the very active
preservation community in Rhode Island for almost 50 years.
- Rhode Island Historical
Society
A private, non-profit educational and cultural organization established
in 1822 to collect, preserve, and share Rhode Island's history,
including books, papers, and photographs. The RIHS operates historic
sites, including Providence's John Brown House and the Aldrich House,
and Heritage Harbor Museum, and Woonsocket's Museum of Work and Culture.
