Other Information
This cemetery is located on the edge of an eroding cliff overlooking
French Creek. Drainage is a problem simply because of the erosion being
caused by run-off next to the iron fence. One of the stones is
interesting because a young woman is buried there named Polly. She has a
carving of a lamb on her tombstone which may indicate that she died in
or due to childbirth with the child being buried with her. No name of
any child is on the stone.
