Other information
I have made personal inquiries as to the whereabouts of the graves,
including those of my Grandfather and other ancestors, with the Benton
Co. Historical Society. They, in turn have contacted the tree farm
that currently owns the land and were told "Everything is where
it should be", by a representative of that tree farm. My
Grandfather, Edward Dodge Strouts, Grandmother and Great
grand-parents' graves (or just their gravestones) have been removed. I
personally have investigated the cemetery as it was my Grandfather's
property. The graves are gone completely. No one seems to know where,
or if they have been moved. There is clear evidence that the ground
has been disturbed, but, not to the extent of the number of interned
(last count, 29).
