Other Information:
The cemetery headstones were tossed over a
hill at the back of the property and are supposedly still there.
The hill falls into a railroad bed. The person who bragged about
doing this to his neighbors is now deceased. The current owner
keeps encroaching on the property. The township mows the little
corner left. The Ruritan Club provided the sign designating it as
The Steele Cemetery. Deed records show the exact measurements and
location of the cemetery by "chains".
