Other Information

This cemetery northeast of Michigan is a German Pioneer Cemetery. There were 3 names in the listing of this cemetery: Richard Sommer- field who died 1n 1899 at the age of 15 years, his mother, Henriette, who died in 1900at the age of 51 years and Eddie Glottke who died in 1911 at the age of 5. Since the prarie grass was so high, I could not go in there to take a proper inventory. The Sommerfields were homesteaders and they probably have descendents living in the area. It is too bad they do not take care of this small pioneer cemetery.
