Other information
This family cemetery was not even in the 1974
Grand Forks Cemetery Book nor its 1990 supplement. It is a burial plot
with 2 headstone in the cemetery. The burials are of the Russett Family
where 5 infants under the age of 1 year were buried there. The cemetery
is a pioneer cemetery that has been neglected.
Update
In the past six weeks, I have been working on
this cemetery. I have been clearing all the tall grass and the dead
grass or thatch that is buried underneath the new grass. I filled in the
hole where the big headstone was and I had to lay the headstone down but
it was heavy so I could not put back. I drove past the cemetery a few
days later and somebody put the headstone up where I filled in the hole
with dirt. It's beginning to look better.
