Needs
It needs some of the headstones found and the
broken ones fixed. There was one headstone that was broken in half with
one half of it missing. They also need to trim the lilac bushes and mow
the grass better.
Other Information
This cemetery was on property that belonged to a
Congregational Church prior to 1897. In the 1971 book, "Cemeteries
of Northern Cass County" there were quite a number of burials there
about (40-50). However a lot of the burials were transferred to other
cemeteries, so when the Red River Genealogical Society did the
supplement, they only found 10- 15 burials. Some of the headstones are
broken and some are hidden in high grass.
