Other_Information

In 1885 a warranty deed was made to set aside land for a cemetery for the town of Lakeville. The first one to buried in there was that of John Stewart, a homesteader. The cemetery was used for a few years before the majority of the burials were buried in Middle Grove Lutheran Church Cemetery which is located about 3 miles southeast of Lakeville Cemetery. Since then, the cemetery has been neglected for many years.
