Other Information
This is a early pioneer cemetery in southeast
Nelson County. There is only one headstone with three names. The first
name on there is Harry Berger (April 1-9, 1877). He died in Iowa and is
buried in Iowa. They just put the name to remember him by. The second
name is Clara Berger (11 July 1878 - 13 March 1881). The third name is
Eva Berger (December 24, 1896-27 May 1896). Mrs. Berger, their mother,
is buried there in an unmarked grave. I really had a hard time seeing
the headstone from the road because of the tall prarie grass and lilac
bushes.
