Other_Information:
ANN STEM/JENKINS 19 Jul 1808 d 6 Apr
1889 - daughter of Jacob Stem founder of Stem NC buried with her husband and
family and slaves in this plot. Headstones have been bulldozed over to clear
land for crops. Every year more slaves graves are claimed by farming. I
traveled 1000 miles to visit my ancestrial graves and was unable to view the
cemetery due to brush and overgrowth around it. Also the road to grave yard
only a 4 wheeler could travel - so my cousin told me. Eddie McDonald in
Siler City NC would be helpful in this matter.
