Contacted: I once posted the information (probably about 5 years ago) but I believe the record was lost or the website became inactive . . .  I have been unable to retrieve my original report in recent years.

Surnames

Hinkle, Clodfelter, Wills, others The listing is included in a Cape Girardeau county list I have seen but I'm writing this report from a remote location (out of state) and without benefit of the source of the list which contains about 25 names of persons interred there. I have exact and specific information on the cemetery's location but am not in a position to retrieve it as I write this report . . . will amend and extend the information when I can.

Other Information

There are some recent efforts to heighten the awareness of descendants and other people in the area of the situation and to try to "do something" about the state of this cemetery by a small group of descendants that first relocated the plot a few years ago. At the moment (2002) we're trying to put up a barbed wire fence to retard the deterioration primarily caused by grazing animals and encroaching trees and undergrowth over the years.
