Surnames:
1.Hardyman 2. Pollitt 3.Lane There were many more family names &
several children. I am unable to find the list of names that I
made. I slipped into the cemetery while the cattle were grazing
elsewhere.
Other_Information:
There are several large, elaborate, stones that look to be of
black granite, also some marble. These date back to the early
1800s.The small stones had heart rendering messages. There were
many smaller gravestones & field stone markers. The fence and
road were removed several years ago.It is used for pasture. The
two trees in the cemetery are used for shade by the
cattle. So,they spend a lot of time there. Some stones are still
intact, but many are overturned or broken. The owner has
mentioned that he will bulldoze the site, as it is a nusiance.
