Other Information
This cemetery did belong to The Brick Union
Church which was razed many years ago. It contains the graves of many
Civil War soldiers, African Americans, and family plots up to the 1961.
There is no known caretaker or maintenance group. It is not only a
cemetery of historical significance, but one that is in dire need of
ongoing grounds keeping. I do know my family wishes to mark graves of
family members as well as keep the cemetery as a historical grounds.
Dire need of funding to hire regular grounds keeping and maintenance.
