Other_Information:
The farmer who owns the land plants crops that, which combined with
winter weather, make this cemetery inaccessable for most of the
year. My great-uncle tries to take care of the cemetery but it is
very hard for him to get to it. If the cemetery were more
accessable it would be better taken care of. Even if just a path,
wide enough for a lawn mower, were left in the crops it would
help. The rumor I have heard is the farmer has threatened to plow
it all under and plant crops there once my great-uncle (the last of the
Brubaker family name from this line) dies. Along with other
ancestors, my great-great-grandfather is buried there, and I do not
think it is fitting for a civil war veteran to come to an end like
that. I have given you all the info I know at this time, more
detailed information is available and I will add it when I can.
People from the state of Illinois have been contacted with no results,
I will get the names and add them as well.
