Other_Information:

I only learned of this cemetery 2 years ago. A couple have been cleaning around certain graves for a fews years. Earlier the state use to clean it while it was in the hands of my realtives, until they became too old and it was given over to the Methodist Church in Jacksonville, FL in 1953.
My realtives did put up a new fence at that time. they were under the impression it would be taken care of after they relinquished it. It has not.

There use to be a church, time and vandalism have erased it. The church register is about 15 pages long. So needless to say, there are many who are probably buried there, but due to vandalism we will never know.
The people buried there are from some of the original families who first lived in South Carolina. My gg grandfather, who is buried there was a Masonic. Some are trying to get me to take over the deed. It depends on what the yearly tax would be. The church has dropped the ball. I say it would be a great eagle scout project.
