Other Information
According to Funeral Director at the McGuire
Funeral Home, this is the burial place of several of our nation's
leading African American citizens. Why it was placed on the National
Register of Historical Places, then left to be vandalized by fire, etc,
and allowed to be overgrown, I have no idea. I have tried in vain to
find out who is in charge so I can get in to tend to my family member's
graves. No one has been able to direct me to a person so might gain
access.
