Nearby: Follow Willis St. out of Bristol, CT, past Long Swamp Rd., into Wolcott just before high tension wires  will be the cemetery on the right.  the road will end.  It is dirt by then and private property.  May be owned by the Beecher family, Pikel family, or state.  It is woods.  If you follow a path just before cemetery out to Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott you will find scattered throughout the woods occasional markers dating back to the 1700's that I believe are soldiers.  Most of the cemetery itself has disappeared with the stones vandalized, knocked over, broken, and grown over.  Beecher Rd picks up again past the power lines and comes out on Woodtick Rd.
