When you are working out the details of how to decorate the living room for your son’s birthday party, you will most likely already have considered balloons. However, you might not have considered all the possibilities offered by balloons. We are all familiar with the well known teardrop shape of the average balloon, but did you know about all the other shapes you can get balloons in? The possibilities are almost limitless and you should really check out all the options before settling for plain balloons. You might think you’ve found the right balloons and then the next store you go in; you find the truly perfect balloons for your son’s party.
You can find balloons that blow up to be four feet long and can be wrapped around things. These are the kind of balloon that clowns use to make toys with. You can get regular shaped balloons in all a huge variety of colors. Balloons are also available in a large array of metallic colors. However, the wide variety of balloon sizes, shapes and colors doesn’t stop there.
If your child is a fan of a particular cartoon or comic book character, then put some effort into finding a character appropriate balloon. Balloons come in all shapes and sizes, as previously mentioned, and they also come in the shapes of cartoon characters and comic book characters. This means that your five-year-old can have a giant TweetyBird floating against the living room ceiling while a giant Sylvester attempts to chase it from the other side of the room. Or you could have Mickey Mouse and any one or more of the other Disney characters. If your child is older and you put your mind to it, you can probably find Wolverine to hover over the party and scare the kids when they see the knives out of the corners of their eyes.
Don’t underestimate the balloon possibilities offered by helium. With helium you can take normally-shaped balloons and make them into great toys. Fill a few dozen balloons of all shapes with helium and let them float on the ceiling. They can probably be snagged by an adult standing on the couch or a chair and used for all sorts of harmless entertainment. Kids can hit each other over the head with a helium filled balloon until their arms get tired and they still won’t hurt each other. Watch out for air drafts blowing the balloons outside into the open air since they will float away where you cannot get them back.
Balloons can be printed with all sorts of slogans. You can get Christmas balloons, Easter balloons, birthday balloons and christening balloons. Whatever event you are celebrating, you will definitely be able to find a balloon appropriate to the occasion.
You can easily find enough balloons to really make an impression on your son’s party guests. You can fill half with helium and half with air so that everyone is surrounded with balloons.
