Other_Information:
The vandalism, destruction done in this cemetery started in
July/Aug 2003. It has been done by a self-appointed committee of
3 who have begun removing and discarding markers, footstones,
rods,etc that have been place for at least 60-108 yrs. The local
ones that have cared for the cem in the past have not been able
to get assitance from the County to put a stop to it. They have
in fact been threatened with arrest. They have hired an atty and
are trying to set up a meeting and get an injunction to cease
and desist immediately.
