Other_Information:

The cemetery is clear toward the front and has been somewhat maintained by some family.  The rear of the cemetery is overgrown, and many graves are now lost and covered.  Several markers are down and broken.  Two crypts are exposed to the elements and one is caved in.  Cars will drive up and park on graves that are not marked and litter is often left from cars parking at night.  There is no fence around the lot.  Several plots are enclosed with fencing or brickwalls.  Many are collasped and overgrown with vines.  The older section toward the back is completely overgrown and roots of trees have damaged graves.  The cemetery has recently come under attack by developers that want to move the cemetery or widen the road in the area that is become popular for business.  Many of the folks buried in the cemetery have a connection to the ancestors of the area; a few civil war veterans, and several veterans of other WWI are buried here.  Property is listed in Russell County Courthouse Deed Book 875, Page 277.  Last D
